Sarah Brown Spoelstra, aka SBS Design, pioneers visual remedies to her clients’ design dilemmas. Over the last decade she has staked her claim in brand, identity, and packaging design. Currently, she governs a freelance design and consulting business.
History
SBS has been working in the industry since 2000. She started out her career at a little print shop where she mastered two color design. Then, she moved to Computer Market Source Magazine where she was in charge of the production and design of a monthly publication, as well as, maintaining and updating their website.
Her next job took her to Pumpkin Masters, where she refined her design skills—creating displays, packaging, and a website. Next, she worked for Scott’s Liquid Gold conceptualizing and designing packaging, point of purchase displays, logos, and more. She headed north to Boulder, and worked for Covidien for a spell, managing FDA regulated products and production work on collateral materials for those products. Then she was offered a job working for Sashco where she designed logos, sales collateral, and edited video.
